Simon Akam Argues the end to the Civil War is Oversimplified

In this review of “Total Destruction of the Tamil Tigers: The Rare Victory of Sri Lanka’s Long War”    by Paul Moorcraft, Simon Akam argues that the solution presented by Moorecraft is an oversimplified account of the actions of the Rajapakshe Government.

Akam argues that the conclusion of the war was not the true conclusion to the matter. Instead, he suggests to the reader that taking a more analytic view of the book is preferable.
