The case on the Matale mass grave was heard again in Matale Magistrates Court today (31st). The Court informed that an international police investigation has been called for and DNA tests would be conducted after this investigation.
The Court also ordered the CID to publish notices in all three languages for the information of those parties affected if there are any to come forward.
Meanwhile, 22 more affidavits were presented to Court today. Also, the Bar Association of Sri Lanka (BASL) has decided to act as observers and the Member of the Executive Committee of BASL Attorney Anura Madagoda represented BASL in court today.
Meanwhile, 6 more have come forward directly as complainants when the CID took measures to take down evidence.
